Danvil Plans' Scam

Danvil Plans' Scam so beware!!!

I'm so pissed off with the employees of Danvil Plans and the modus operandi of those shitty bastards. I was having a walk at SM and suddenly a lady approaches me saying if i have a credit card. At first I was hesitant, then she said i won a free movie ticket. I was assured that there is no money involved. Then after lots of talk saying some good things about you, i was relived but haven't lost my focus. Until they introduce a some sort of lottery that you could win a car.

Guys, beware of temptation! This shit load of lie will make your life miserable. I will not tell you guys on how i got into this mess but one thing is for sure Danvil Plans is a scam no doubt.

How do they do it?

1.) Prospecting - Beware of these scammers at the mall. They are many and will block your way. Do not entertain them. If you do they will proceed with #2.

2.) Getting your trust - Will assure no that no money is involved. Only survey and after getting your trust they will proceed with #3.

3.) Centering - Will lead you to their office and attend a 45 min talk that will introduce their company. You will sign that you cannot leave that 45 min session so you are oblige to listen to them.

4.) Mind manipulation - Will talk about your family and dreams. Fuck them!!! And will give you a form that will write down your personal information. I knew it was a scam the moment they ask me for my mother's maiden name! Never ever give it to them it's genealogy.

5.) Pressure - Those bastards will pressure you and wont let you talk and explain. One after another they will manipulate your mind.

6.) Payment - This is a very tricky and clever way of getting 6k to your credit card. They will say that it needs approval of the back versus your credit card company. And if it's not approved then they will say "sorry, we can't do anything if the bank doesn't approve it". Oh yeah, i thought it will take a day for approval but guess what, it took 2 seconds. Why? Because they automatically deduct 6k from your credit card already. The approval is already a fucking TRANSACTION without your permission. Clever eh?

7.) Policy - They will give you the policy last and little did you know that you are scammed after getting it. Their explanation is so different with the policy and will not match plus there is no refund. Bye bye 6k.


PAYMENT BEFORE THE POLICY IS A REAL SCAM. It's like paying something without knowing what it is.

Please comment and help me file a petition or complaint at SEC about this matter because they will get much from lenient people.

A friendly TIP: Avoid insurance companies as much as possible. Just save on your money at your bank and avoid these insurance companies. They will do no good. The inflation rate of peso is high and investing your money that you can get 10-15 years from now is a bad idea. The value of it by then is very low. They will just use your money for their own good.

but the way the pursue people to sign up sa program nila is too UNETHICAL.

they harass people and pressure them. they say false statements para mahikayat yung people na mag sign-up, like free movie tickets (pero wala naman)

I was really disappointed to myself that i was able to say yes to transfer my money to their company as savings. That's what they use 'savings' not a payment for insurance. I was really really pissed off when i read all the things that was said and to the lady i talked to because its very different to what she says ( all are false statements )when we had conversation. It's really better to have this company closed because of their lies.

hey...ur definitely right.. i was a danvil vitim too..fortunately and thanks heaven was canceled and refunded my money... i just file on sec a complaint and go to their main office in paseo de roxas...have u canceled the fucking plan

hey...exactly they are scam!I was also a danvil victim. But i demand to them a full refund back my money to my credit card. hahaha Then they approved it natakot cla sa akin. But I just w8 until 30 to 45 days processing.
Paglumagpas cla ng 45days then wala pa ung money ko...

thans for this blog...we're at megamall yesterday and a certain lady of this Danvil company approach us..
and to some explanation n ala dw bayab and everything...we have to go for a 45 minute interview,but we didn't get back..
kso i didn't notice na knuha pla nla ung credit card number ng husband ko...the hell with this company..manlo2ko pla...
that's why we're afraid...khit ung card number lng knuha..s dmi b nmn ng hackers ngy0n...

im am a victim to this danvil plans, it has been 4 years now that i paid my monthly amortization...at first (*nong family first pa) updated silang magbigay ng OR sa akin, until last year, di na cla ngbiagay ng kaya i declared lost my card para di na cla makapagdeduct, until i consulted pareng google, i found out nga na scam yun...huhuhu
My plan now is considered lasped, i still dont know what to do?
please leave your comments if you have an idea of how i/we can get out of this scam..

How can we get back the initial payment that was charge to the credit card? We've seen videos, read blogs and forums but there was no specific move how to get our money back :(

Please help... This was going on and on now at SM City Cebu and a lot of people get stuck to it without knowing where their money goes... like me, poor me :(

me, too! i got victimized by this just yesterday while shopping at SM City Cebu with my mom. i was really hesitant beforehand (yung may nagtanong sa akin kung may credit card ako!). in the long run, i went to their office with the agent coz she said im qualified to get freebies & join the raffles. not knowing, they are just selling policy plans. the presentor told me that the initial premium is 19,000+ and pwede daw hulug-hulogan. i told him i couldn't decide right now since i have to consult first my parents since i don't have any idea about insurance stuffs. he said that one-time opportunity daw to, di na pwede bukas. insist ko talaga na bukas na lng! he again insulted me that im already at a legal age to decide parang nauntog ako dun! then, he offered me a plan for students daw and told me depende daw if ma-honor daw sa bank. i thought di cya ma-honor d na kc ako student! i thought also they'll gonna call my CC company to verify but then, the cashier just immediately swiped my card. yun na, may transaction na sa CC ko! it seemed my world stopped at that point. nagmamadali nga ako nun, napa-yes na lng ko. what the hell! when i went home, i was really restless and googled about their company and saw so many people being victimized by their tactics. it came to my mind na why would i trust my future with them? d ko pa nga kilala ung company!

now, i want my money back. please help me what to do first. (holiday pa naman ngayon!) i want to go to their office right now but nkalagay sa envelope na binigay sa akin na wla silang office monday. i just want to get out of this mess within 24 hrs!

My plan will mature next year and I'm updated with my payment. Let's wait until next year if they will give my money back. If not they I would say that it is a scam. Meron ba ditong nag mature na un plans pero di binigay un pera? Scam un pag attract nila ng tao pero un plans di pa natin alam kung scam nga dahil wala namang nag rereklamo na di binigay un pera nila.

i'm a year old member of danvil plans and it really didn't occur to me that it was scam.... what are we going to do to get our money back...please help...buti na lang pala my card is over limit kaya my account now was past due, though i have plans to reactivate it(buti n lng)... true my initial and my first six months of payment they send me an OR but now nothing...i was so trusting...urghh...

i just arrived from sm city cebu just ryt now..i get a plan of 1610 per month they swiped 16800 from ny credit card,its my mistake i gave them permission to do it..i have no idea if it is really legal or not..i was tempted.

my wife's policy will be due this October after nearly 10 years of paying. However, I was surprised that this april, they failed to auto charge my credit card. Last night I was surprised with the news on 24 oras that there was a shortfall on the trustfund of danvil plans and today, I cannot contact their customer service. I tried to contact them thru their website were you can send your inquiry, comments and suggestions. When I click send, it keeps on showing error. These are really disturbing signs!!!

i'm also a danvil planholder since 2004. had my plan lapsed several times pero just got it reactivated last month. i didn't want to continue paying kaso sayang naman yung mga naibayad ko. until i heard the news today na deficient sila so now i'm debating kung itutuloy ko pa or not. so i called them and asked if i can terminate my policy. the rep was very helpful and gave me all the requirements pero sabi nya 40% lang nung nabayad ang makukuha ko kasi di pa mature and they calculate how much percentage you'll get depende sa amount yata and kung gano katagal ka na nagbayad.

right now i'm waiting for further information sa news before i make my decision kasi malaking pera din yon and matatapos na next year ang payments ko.

i agree na very aggressive and harrassing na ang kanilang marketing strategy.which they need to change. pero in the end it's your decision kung di mo maintindihan yung sinasabi nila then ask questions. ako i asked a lot of questions and paulit ulit makulit ako. tsaka basahin ang contract.take your time.naintindihan ko naman and they tried to offer more, this and that pero i said no. kung ano lang ang plan na gusto kong kunin yun lang.

i read in one of the blogs from another site na some people already got their money na without hassle.

to the guy na they stopped auto charging your card, they did that to me nagstop na lang w/o my knowledge tapos lapse na pala yung policy ko di ko pa alam. check your card kung expired na o may laman ba at the time na they were charging it. kasi yung akin expired na pala so i just gave them new information about my card.
problema sa kanila is updating the planholders, di sila masipag mag remind and magbigay ng notice minsan delayed.
i call them alot. minsan matagal ang waiting so i just call again a day after or at a different time. iwasan ang usual times na people call customer service para di busy ang line.kasi sabay sabay minsan. sa website oo nga madalas error pero after a day or two okay na. email works for me nagrereply naman agad lalo na si eleazar francisco sya ang laging nagrereply sa email.

dun sa naglapse yng account kung gusto mo mabalik at least a percentage nung naibayad mo, sabi nung rep dapat active yung status kung gusto mo, magreinstate ka bayad ka ng 1 month para lang maactivate ulit tapos after that iterminate mo na para may makuha ka lang.

sa mga napaniwala dahil sa free stuff. makinig mabuti sa words na ginagamit. ang sabi kasi sakin you have a chance to win this or to be included in a raffle or to play on the toy machine. i did all those di naman ako nanalo pero they just said you have a CHANCE to win etc. di namn sinabi nabibigyan ako ng kung ano ano. PERO before ako sumama tinanong ko muna anong catch kasi sa buhay ngayon wala ng free masyado lagi may kapalit. so alam ko na bebentahan ako ng insurance nung sumama ko sa rep.

sa huli you just have to be smart with your decisions siguro yung iba nagdecide dahil napressure. so far okay naman sila sakin pero ngayon im worried kasi deficient na nga ang funds. it doesn't mean na scam sila from the start. kasi sa economy ngayon madami talagang bumabagsak na companies. e yung 3 major carmakers nga SA US bumagsak e. so understandable pero sana they won't fool people this time like legacy did. atsaka sana gawan ng paraan.

so i guess we'll wait till may 15? or 18? for the deadline sa kanila ng sec para malaman ang status.

May 9, 2009 at 10pm when i signed up for a policy after they brainwash me for almost 3 hours. Sunday, I sent an email to prudential life stating my retraction. Monday, here at office, I called Prudential and I was asked to send the email directly to the person in-charge. And they immediately forward the letter to Danvil Southmall where I got my policy. I follow up to prudential and told me to directly asked Ms * of Danvil. After 3 days, Ms * called me up and told me to submit back all original documents to them. And, after submitting back the documents, I will have to wait for the cash back amounting to P6650 to be credited back to my account. After office tonight, I will go directly to their office to submit my documents. So I may say they are kind too...

ang problema kasi legit company sila.. a post from a danvil employee : "Kung manloloko kami how come Henry Sy still trusted us for 10 years now? and how come the company is still there standing? And how come ABS-CBN and GMA are supporting us? At sino magiging katapat namin? YOU? Even Tulfo or Mike Enriquez couldn’t penetrate ikaw pa kaya? Your nothing to Danvil, i dont thing you can even afford to get one of our plans"

we need actions man, we must not let this issue go until this danvil has been abolished.

I'm too a danvil planholder for 3 yrs now because I was victimized to give them my credit card. When I have learned regarding what happen to legacy, Im so worried about what will happen to my investment and though of cancelling my plan but as per the customer service said Only 40% of the total payment will be return back. I already invested a lot to I just continue till now and praying that they will gave what is due to us all planholders. I re-instated my plans twice already. Its true, very difficult to connect the hotline, but you need to contact them because BIG money is involved here. When following with emails, it will take weeks or months and many time of follow-ups before they can response. The way they sell the plans is not a good way because they are harassing people. To all planholders, hope we invested our money correctly and when all our plans will mature, they will give to us back the money as per maturity value.

Will very much appreciate for any updates in this blog.

ako victim din yesterday lang. grabe torture n trauma inabot ko sa kanila!fuker! sinwipe credit card ko tapos pinapasign sa akin un transaction list, hindi ko sinign!! sabi nung 3 bugok yun form na lang daw muna pero dko talaga sinign!leche kaya i went out n looked for my sister then told her fumingly mad na sinwipe credit card ko amounting to P24,000.00 so we called the guard's attention & went straight to SM OFFICE to file a complaint. when i came back sa DANVIL this allegedly MANAGER KUNO handed me a void list that my transaction to them was not valid. so i hope hindi nga dahil i already fax the void slip sa CARD company. MORAL OF THE STORY: NEVER ENTERTAIN STRANGERS & THEIR FAKE PROMOS!!! sumabog sana DANVIL Branches sa mga SM!

hello po!nabiktima din po ako ng danvil plan na to!i already cancelled my endowment policy sa kanila within 24 hours..i only have my cancellation letter with me signed by their sales manager marion recla,sabi nila il just wait 30-45days daw..but im so worried na baka di nila isauli yung pera ko at baka patuloy pa rin silang kukuha ng pera sa credit card ko even if napacancel ko na..please someone help me!this is really a nigthmare for me..

Hello there! Just want to share same experienced with you guys that was last April pa when I was being deceived with their dirty tactics in SM CEBU CITY. Yesterday I request for cancellation coz I feel that this company is not a stable one. But they refuse to refund since my plan daw will have a cash value after a year and only the interest I can received as what their costumer service explained, then here goes their supervisor again explaining...to make the story short I will wait 10 working days for us to have discussion between me the management and the agent. But I can't wait that long! If they really want settlement from that time, she could have just call the agent attention. Their delaying strategy! My agent explains about savings with free insurance, Another MISREPRESENTATION THING! it's not my fault now. all I want for them to return my money! For those of you guys encountered problem like mine. We must take an action now! I will send letter to the security admin office of SM Mall. We can assemble there if you want or just send your letter, so as they can also help us.

I just got scammed myself just 2 days ago and I am now doing all necessary means to cancel the signed endowment insurance. I will take them to court if I have to. These people are so fucking amazing, how do these bastards get such a lowlife kind of job. I think these sales staff actually think and believe their own lies, that their trying to help us save. Every tactic and scheme they did was deceiving, misleading, they violate many of the Consumer Behaviour ACT. I was victimized at the SM PAMPANGA mall by this ARWIN OCAMPO guy. While they take you to their office they take turns interviewing you and prying on all your personal life including how you met husband etc., pretending their interested (although I was already thinking GEEEZZZ...this is what they call professional here in the Philippines, try and be friends in a few seconds and not stop yakking so they can distract you from leaving). Mind you, they prey on our hospitality and politeness- that is our culture. We cannot just seem to walk away, turn our backs and say- FUCK THIS your all scam. I wish I had. I was so tired that day just walking the mall with family, not really wanting to think at all and so beign polite to this girl who I thought was just doing her part of the days job so I said to myself go on listen for a few minutes- by the time I realized it I am in the office thinking I was just going to do some free raffle (I mean of course nothing is for free these days something was always there) but I was too tired to think. When I got inside the office, there it was the full sales force. Not just one person says hello to you maybe about 5, all being overly friendly and prying- you know the O TAGASAAN KA? A GANON BA? God I hate this attitude in the Philippines and how they go about doing business. Then they tell you about the importance of SAVING. Like hello, we are taught that lesson from what, Grade 5. Yeah we do not ever manage to save as much as we want and no savings at all but hell if we had the money of course we know the importance of savings. So there I was listening about the things even a Grade 5 knows about and this guy thinking he is the smartest person in the world. They used misleading words 'pa-approve lang ang card mo sa bank " yun pala eh...swipe na agad ang card! THese people are shockingly indecent, lacks integrity. SM should take responsibility in allowing this kind of company in operating in their malls. Dami na navictimize nito. Abah, kahit isang libo lang dineposito ko dito hahabulin ko sila for the almost 3 hours time they have taken away from me that day, from putting me in some corner so i cannot say no, or just to give them a lesson. Unfortunately if DTI Keeps giving this company a different name (Family first ito dati eh or Danvil ba) aba siyempre hayan parin sila. Working under so many pretenses. What kidn of people kaya nasisikmura magbenta ng insurance sa ganitong paraan. I would have bought Insurance if they were honest and directly sasid to me "mam actuall ooferan po namin kayo ng insurance" kaya lang kunwari pa sila ng kung ano ano. To hell with these people! makakarma ang mga ito.

Guys am also one of a victim of DANVIL PLANS INC..i just want to find out how to get a cancellation or make a refund, i paid 6,650.00 last nov 2008 thru my credit card, then i paid monthly of 1,610.00..so please help me to get thru this scam..but am so worried abt to their next victims..kahapon pumunta ako sa sm north edsa yung office na pla nila sa nasa SM ANNEX LOWER GROUND, tago yung office nila tapos hindi danvil plans ang karatola office nila parang PPLN na lang..marami na naman sila bibiktimahin..sana maaksyunan itong problema kawawa kasi mga bago nilang biktima.

Its not just worth it...I almost had nervous breakdown talking over the phone with this name Eleazer Francisco, supposed a "Customer Care Supervisor". He pissed me off with these statements the likes of "who gave to you my number?" for what & why? Then I ask the name and cell# of his manager, he said "I cannot give becuase its personal" -- what kind of customer service manager, no company cell?, I ask if the manager is based in head office and if he reports on Jan , 2010? he said, "I dont know whats his schedule", also he added "what time is it there now? I am out of the office and I cannot see your records" - OMG!! he can communicate to let the staff read whats stated on my records....I am really pissed and told him, you dont deserve to be a "Customer Care Supervisor, not even 5% of Customer care statement you didnot express to me as your policy holder.

I don't know if they are legal or not.. Ang problem is how they harass people and pressure them para sa insurance na un. Really annoying. Like ayaw nilang magpalabas ng tao when they sa NO.. The hell! PROPER EXIT! My ganun.. anu to CAT???!!! Wala pa kong company na naririnig na kelangan ng PROPER EXIT maliban sa kanila.. Very Scammy talaga! I'am one of danvil victims I just want to know how can I get my money back. Here is the story its been 3yrs. since I started to trasfer my money through my credit card, and now I have recieved a letter from them that my account has been PAST DUE and it would be render my plan to LAPSED so they want to ACTIVE my status to them back since I've read this BLOG I hesitated to REACTIVE my status.. All I want to do now is to refund my money back.. PLEASE HELP me I dont kno what should I do.. please give some reccomendations or comments .. It will be much appreciated.

Hi! Me and my husband had the same experience. To think its not 6k that had been initially charged to us IT'S 16k!!! We joined in 2006,,, and finally decided to terminate it just this October 2010. Why??? Here are the reasons:
1. When they invited us, they were so kind, friendly, easy to talk to
2. They used to call and update us regarding our policy
3. They used to give us tokens (bags, umbrellas, even sent us greeting cards)
And lots more...

But later on,,, all of these were GONE! To the extend that we dont even received any billing statement!

So last October 2010, we went to their branch to finally terminate our plans. To our surprise, MY faceplan is MISSING in the envelope! (When they handed all the documents to us on the day we signed up, OF COURSE we were confident that everything was ok). From that day, we didnt even open the envelopes, rather we kept them in our document cabinet. So now, I cant file my plan termination on that day. They said I need to get AFFIDAVIT OF LOSS. So I secured all the documents they asked me to get. On December 08, 2010, I was successfully terminated my plan. I am to expect my check (which is absolutely about 70% loss to us) in 30-45 days... But to tell you, up to this date I havent received my check (oh forgot to mentioned that we received my husband's check in 30days+). I kept on calling the branch to follow up my check, but they used to answer me "It's not yet here!" That's bullshit right?! When they encouraged us to join, right there and there the 16k was swiped, and now, here I am, having a hard time to get a portion of what we totally paid to them.

We really feel bad on how things went like these! Please pass the message.

Totally it is not a scam, it is only their strategy to attract people and persuade them to buy their products. Me personally i was persuaded and bought the product after I attended the presentation. I bought the product because I fully inderstood it. year 2010 I already got my maturity amount in the promised date and promised amount without a single centavo decripancy. Thanks to Danvil for helping me plan my future, now I was able to use the money for my business.

well,it's a different situation.pero sa totoo lang,hindi naman insurance company ang danvil plans.Isa itong pre-need company habang nagbabayad ang mga planholders covered kayo ng insurance.after fully paid ang contract ng 5years,mostly sa insurance protection mawala na rin dahil mostly parang package deal lang po yon.To convience and attractions of clients.Legal po sila,at SEC Registered po sila.
Nagmatured na po ang 1 kung contract on March 27,2011.Nakuha ko po ang check galing sa Trust Fund Bank.Pero dismayado ako sa ginawa nila sa akin,before ako nagfile for claimnants,okey ang trato nila or how they entertain.I've felt comfortable.Pero ng dumating ako sa office nila sa alabang.Para bang kakaiba,dahil nga releasing ng check mo eh,hindi ka magsign ng contract sa kanila para kikita pa sila.whereas,sa ibang pe-need company ok naman mag-entertain ng clients.Kung paano nila e comfort ang clients.Balak ko pa naman sanang e lumpsum ang isa ko pang investment sa kanila,pero nga dahil sa nangyari sa akin on last claimed ko sa unang investment ko sa kanila.nawalan ako ng gana to continue on kind of investments.
I would like to advice for having investments on this company,ituloy nyo nalang ang paghulog.Isang sugal ito sa panahon natin ngayon na puro krisis ang inabot sa mga pre-need company.Ang gawin nyo lang just to monitor time to time kung okey pa ba ang company.ganun lang.

Me too I was a victim of this company.
Good thing I have an ischemic heart disease so my refund was granted yet it takes months and months to reverse the transaction. Lesson learned think first before you decide not only once but many times. Imagine they use our bank with this scam and the SM as their proof that they are not doing a scam...

I should say that i was kinda lucky to still have a presence of mind to fight the pressure..

I was already on the STEP 6 (on this blog) before they take away my credit card (for bank approval daw), I asked them what will they do if my credit card company approves it? When they said they will deduct money right away, so upon hearing it, i immediately refused.

Knowing that they are just one step closer for landing another victim. They put on pressure on me saying "Maganda naman ang product namin di ba? and etc." But still, i refused.

I know na-badtrip na sila sa akin kasi hindi nila ako nakuha sa pa-"awa" epek kesyo kung may mangyari man sa akin saan ako kukuha ng pera?

I just replied (with insult na rin) and said that "I have the money to cover my medical bills. At isa pa, nagpunta lang ako dito para sa raffle ng kotse."

One thing that amazed me is how they wrote upside-down. Ang galing nila...swabe!...hehe!

Tip ko na lang sa iba na maging conscious pagdating sa pera and credit card.

BTW, nangyari ito sa SM Megamall.

I'm not sure what to do with my plan already. I am not receiving any reply from the plan anymore. My documents was stolen as my bag was snatched. Therefore, i don't know any plan number. Sayang naman nainvest ko. Di ko alam paano ko makukuha.. Help me..

i'm also i plan holder of danvil.. i have lapses for more than a year now. i would like to update and continue paying but now i'm in doubts bcoz of what i've read on this blog.. is danvil is really a scam? is danvil not a legal or registered company from SEC? please need help! give me advises if i have to reactivate my policy or better not anymore bcoz they are not legal at all? pls. give ur comments..

Planholder din ako ng danvil, last march 2011 fullpayment nako, ngayon ko lang naisip bakit wala pang fullpayment certificate dumarating at nag advise friend ko na tumngin sa internet, dami negative feedbacks pinag hirapan ko mga binayad dito tapos ganun lang! para dun sa mga agents na nag aalok kapal ng mga mukha nyo, nag pagamit kayo! makonsensya kayo. gumawa kayo ng paraan paano maibalik ang mga perang pinag hirapan namin. lahat ng ginawa nyo naka marka sa itaas andoon ang final judgement. AMEN
